Support

Northern Interior Alaska Association for the Education of Young Children (niaaeyc) is a nonprofit which promotes high-quality early learning for all children, birth through age eight, by connecting practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children. Our membership and board of directors consist of parents, teachers, and support professionals; who recognize the importance of the early years currently making a difference in the northern interior.

Our vision is that all young children thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring they reach their full potential. We are actively engaged in developing and maintaining the quality of care and education for young children through advocacy, education, partnership, and conversation.

Our chapter of naeyc contributes to our region, as we partner with programs, other nonprofit organizations, and businesses to support events for children, families, and early childhood professionals in the northern interior communities. niaaeyc hosts and contributes to multiple events throughout the year including: niaaeyc’s annual early childhood education conference, community networking evenings, and northern interior partnerships’ events. We are asking for a donation of goods/services/money to help in our efforts.

Your gift will help niaaeyc be innovative and effective in advancing the early childhood profession and delivering high-quality early learning to more young children.

Donations support:

* Scholarships for our early childhood education conference

* Public Policy for children and families, the northern interior region of Alaska, Alaska as a whole, and the United States

* Advocacy initiatives such as Denali Kid Care

* Professional Development for early childhood educators, parents, and home providers

Priority is placed on developing a new generation of diverse early childhood education leaders. On behalf of niaaeyc, thank you for your time and consideration of our request, as well as your support.

As we continue to invest our time, energy, and resources in our community, we would also like to recognize your commitment to our community and early childhood education by partnering with you. Businesses such as thread, UAF, The Children’s Museum, and Last Frontier Media Active have become some our biggest supporters and collaborators as we continue our efforts to promote high quality early childhood education.
